Marshall ShredMaster 60th Anniversary Distortion Pedal Overview

Marshall Pedals Linked SKU Banner
Experience the explosive power of the Marshall Shredmaster - the legendary distortion pedal has returned with all the raw energy of the original.

Unmistakably authentic, unapologetically classic.

Get ready to experience the raw power of distortion with the Marshall Shredmaster. Originally released in 1992 as the Drive With No Name, this pedal quickly made a name for itself on the rigs of some of the greatest guitar players of all time, including Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood. The Shredmaster was added to Greenwood’s pedalboard in early 1997 and was used to create the iconic sound on their album “OK Computer”.

Rediscover the iconic sound.

This faithful reissue of the Shredmaster captures the essence of the original design, complete with the same high-gain distortion that made it so sought after. Hand-built at Marshall’s famous Bletchley headquarters, this pedal is an exact recreation of the original and promises to deliver the same raw and powerful sound that has inspired generations of guitar players.

The original formula, refined for today’s guitarist.

Despite being discontinued at the beginning of the boutique pedal boom in the late nineties, the Shredmaster, along with the other pedals in the Black Box series, have had a lasting impact on the pedal market and continue to influence thousands of stompboxes that came after it. Don’t miss your chance to bring the Jonny Greenwood sound to your pedalboard with the Marshall Shredmaster re-issue pedal.

Absolutely brilliant pedal , I tried out the Guvnor and the Drivemaster which sounded pretty good but didn't have enough gain for my style of playing , the Shredmaster sounds awesome from punk to full on death metal if that's your thing. It's the best Overdrive Pedal I've bought for a long time I'm really pleased with it . A?????
