Marshall Bluesbreaker 60th Anniversary Drive Pedal Overview

Marshall Pedals Linked SKU Banner

From its durable construction to its warm, organic drive, the Marshall Bluesbreaker reissue pedal is the perfect addition to any rig, delivering the vintage-inspired sounds that have inspired countless guitar legends.

Unmistakably authentic, unapologetically classic.

Inspired by one of the most revered amps in guitar history, the original Bluesbreaker pedal was released in 1991 and quickly became a staple in the collections of guitarists around the world. With its ability to deliver everything from subtle boosts to full-on drive, it’s no wonder that it’s still highly sought after today.

Rediscover the iconic sound.

The Marshall Bluesbreaker reissue pedal stays true to the original, with a soft clipping circuit that provides organic, responsive tones that are perfect for everything from blues to classic rock. The pedal is housed in a durable black enclosure, with a unique design that was meant to protect the knobs from being stomped on during use.

Seven years after the original Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal was discontinued, the release of John Mayer’s album Continuum in 2006 would make the guitar world take notice of this classic pedal.

The original formula, refined for today’s guitarist.

Today, the Bluesbreaker reissue is a testament to Marshall’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Hand-crafted in the same factory that has been building Marshall amplifiers for over six decades, this pedal is a true piece of guitar history.

The meticulous attention to detail and precision that goes into building each pedal ensures that you can own a faithful recreation of the original, capturing the warm, responsive tones that made the Bluesbreaker a classic.

Bought this pedal out of out of nostalgia for a sound from my youth. It sounds great (if you dime it-pretty low gain otherwise) and just like the original-which cost a fortune these days- it's built like a tank.

I had an old one with hardly any paint left on it, I lent it to a friend and what did he do....painted it really badly with red hammerite, pillock!! Anyway the reissue sounds great, pretty much indistinguishable from the original, the only downside to these pedals is they're massive, takes up a lot of room on the board, but worth it! Stacks really well with a clean boost or another low gain drive pedal!!
