ESP LTD MK-EC-FR Mille Petrozza, Satin Black Overview
The MK-EC FR builds upon the ESP Eclipse’s single-cutaway shape but carves its path as a unique beast. Boasting a flat-topped body designed for sheer speed, it foregoes bevels, horn scoops, or arm cuts. Adorned with black binding on the body, neck, and headstock (featuring a waist cut in the back for enhanced playing comfort), this guitar makes a bold statement.
High-Performance Construction:
With neck-thru-body construction at a 25.5” scale, an alder body, and a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, the MK-EC FR ensures extended sustain and excels in handling downtuning with ease.
Luxurious Ebony Fingerboard:
The Macassar ebony fingerboard offers a touch of luxury, adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.
All-Black Hardware:
The MK-EC FR’s hardware, all in black, includes a Floyd Rose 1000 SE double-locking tremolo with stainless steel screws, precise Grover tuners, and a set of direct-mount EMG 81X (bridge) and EMG 85X (neck) active pickups with brushed black chrome covers.
Dynamic Tonality:
These EMG pickups deliver exceptional tones, ranging from open and organic to blistering and intense. Notably, they offer a higher dynamic range compared to typical active pickups.
