Ibanez RG5121 Prestige, Burgundy Metallic Flat Overview
This model is part of Ibanez’s flagship RG series, and it’s also a Prestige which means it has been crafted in Japan using only the best luthiers, processes and material to create a high-quality guitar. It has an African Mahogany body with a slim Super Wizard HP neck made from Maple and Wenge, and this is topped with a Macassar Ebony fretboard with 24 Jumbo frets. For pickups, it has two Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Humbuckers, which provide a crisp crunch and tight bass sound, alongside great distortion characteristics and dynamics. It also features a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, luminlay side dots which are useful in low-light conditions, off-set Mother of Pearl dot inlays, and the look is completed with a Burgundy Metallic Flat finish and cosmo black hardware.
