Vintage V6 ReIssued, Candy Apple Blue Overview

With a traditionally styled American Alder body, a balanced set of three Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, and a Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge, the Vintage V6 Reissued in Candy Apple Blue is every inch a masterpiece of detail, style, and playability.

The WVS pickups feature staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces for that authentic tone and power, while the reverse wound, reverse polarity centre pickup provides hum cancelling in switch positions 2 and 4. A positive location, 6 screw trem and bridge design, with ‘push-in’ variable tension delrin-bushed arm, provides an accurate return to pitch; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and ‘snap’, and a ground base plate corners provides authentic looks.

Comfort, speed, and supreme playability are ensured by way of a Classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile Maple neck, and a 10" radius Lignum Rosa™ fingerboard. 22 Medium Profile frets add to the comfort, accuracy and classic feel of the Vintage V6, while the addition of a Graphite top nut, and Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-Lok locking tuners ensure that tuning remains both constant and stable; staggered string posts, a feature usually only seen on higher priced instruments, provide the ideal string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
