Marshall AS50D Acoustic 50W 2x8 Combo, Brown Overview
The Marshall AS50D acoustic amplifier is one of the most popular acoustic combos on the market, and is perfect for both working pro-musicians and home players alike. It's been in the Marshall catalogue for years and has found a special place in many players' hearts on account of its great tone and thought-through practical design. It's essentially a Swiss-Army knife amp for acoustic players and performers. It even has a phono input, ready to take an CD/MP3 input for breaks in between sets, so it can even double as a small PA for parties and get-togethers.
Plus it has a high-quality DI out and anti-feedback notch filter, for when you need a little more volume, or are just pushing the amp hard enough that you're sensitive acoustic starts to feedback a little.
At 50 Watts the AS50D has two specially designed 8" Celestion drivers and a high fidelity polymer dome tweeter to push out clear, rich tones and brilliant highs. Designed for a variety of different acoustic instruments, the AS50D has a range of inputs designed to work with instruments with magnetic pickups, piezos and both passive/dynamic and condenser microphones.
Onboard digital FX, which include studio-quality reverbs, are assignable to either or both channels, and can be balanced with FX in the FX loop. It's the perfect amp for intimate acoustic gigs
