The Ibanez EHB5MSBSP is a modern bass designed for exceptional performance, versatility, and comfort. With its headless construction, ergonomic design, and chambered body, it offers a lightweight, well-balanced feel perfect for extended performances or practice sessions. The EHB series blends advanced electronics and premium tonewoods, delivering a cutting-edge instrument capable of handling the wide tonal range demanded by contemporary bassists.

This model features a 9-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck reinforced with graphite rods for increased stability, sustain, and precise note attack. The Panga Panga fretboard adds a distinct tonal character, offering tight lows, rich mids, and sharp highs. An American Basswood body provides a natural, flat tone, while medium stainless steel frets ensure durability.

The bass is equipped with Fishman® Fluence™ pickups, delivering multi-voice performance, dynamic range, and clarity without noise. The Fishman® 3-band EQ includes a mid-frequency control set at 630Hz for nuanced tonal shaping. Additional flexibility comes from the Single Coil Mode switch and Fishman® Voice Select switch, offering various sound profiles for different playing styles, including classic passive, active, and scooped tones.

The MR5HS bridge allows precise adjustment for string spacing and optimal vibration transfer. Custom Ibanez headpieces ensure effortless string changes, and luminescent side dots enhance visibility on dark stages. The ergonomic design includes a contoured body, slanted back for better control, and a scooped cut behind the lower horn for easier upper fret access. A detachable finger ramp is included for added comfort during fingerpicking.
