Ibanez AW70ECE Artwood Dreadnought Electro Acoustic, Natural Overview

If you need a traditional guitar that can easily switch from acoustic to electric, you've found it here in the Artwood Traditional Acoustic Electric. With Fishman Sonicore Pickups and Ibanez SST Shape Shifter Preamp with Onboard Tuner, players will notice how smooth the transition is from acoustic to electric and back, and it will make playing live gigs so much easier. With their full sound, strong bass, and clarity in chording and soloing, dreadnoughts have become the most popular acoustic body style. Ivorex II nut is stronger and more durable than bone and even harder than the original Ivorex. Ivorex II nut allows brilliant highs and more pronounced lows with less mid-range which makes Ivorex II-fitted guitars perfect for amplification. AW70 models feature a bound headstock with Ibanez chrome die-cast tuners. The Ibanez SPT preamp has a 3-band tone control and shape control along with a built-in electronic tuner.

A beautifully made instrument with a wonderful full tone. An easy and responsive action. The volume when played as an acoustic is excellent and there is a long sustain on notes and chords. Extremely pleased with the instrument for its mellow sound and craftsmanship.
