For over 30 years, Ibanez Guitars has been a pioneer in crafting instruments that empower electric guitar players to push musical boundaries. With a rich history dating back to 1908, Ibanez truly came into its own during the late 1980s when legendary artists like Steve Vai and Frank Zappa embraced their instruments. This marked the beginning of a journey that would see Ibanez become a favorite among musicians worldwide, earning a reputation for creating versatile and innovative guitars and basses.
Today, the brand boasts a global roster of dedicated artists and remains a leader in the industry. This model features a basswood body finished in sleek satin black, complemented by a stainless steel pick guard. Its bolt-on neck is constructed from three pieces of maple, designed in a thin 'C' profile for enhanced playability. The rosewood fretboard houses 24 jumbo frets and features a 15.7-inch radius, offering a smooth playing surface without inlays, while the nut width measures 48mm. The guitar’s scale length is 25.5 inches. The electronics and hardware are engineered for precision and tone.
It includes a Gibraltar Standard II-7 bridge with string-through construction and black hardware for durability and style. The pickups consist of a DiMarzio Blaze single-coil in the neck position and a DiMarzio Blaze humbucker at the bridge, both passive with ceramic magnets, delivering dynamic and articulate sound. A master volume control and a three-way switch provide straightforward, intuitive operation.
It has been fully setup, re-strung and deep-cleaned by our in-house technician and does not include a gig bag or hard case.
