The LTD SC-20, is a tribute to the 20th anniversary of Stephen Carpenter (Deftones) joining the ESP Signature Series family. This six-string powerhouse harkens back to Carpenter's early ESP designs, blending nostalgia with modern features to meet the demands of today's players.
Constructed with a neck-thru-body design, the SC-20 boasts a robust three-piece maple neck paired with alder sides, ensuring both stability and resonance. The Macassar ebony fingerboard, featuring 24 XJ frets and glow-in-the-dark side markers, offers unparalleled playability and visibility, even in low-light conditions. Its thin-U neck contour ensures comfort during extended sessions, catering to players who prioritize speed and precision.
Equipped with premium electronics, the SC-20 delivers a versatile tonal palette. A high-output Seymour Duncan JB pickup anchors the bridge position, providing aggressive and articulate tones, while the ESP Designed LH-150N humbucker in the middle and LS-120 single-coil in the neck ensure a broad range of sonic options. This guitar features a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body construction, enhancing sustain and tuning stability. Chrome hardware, LTD locking tuners, and a molded nut round out the SC-20's meticulous hardware design.
