The XDJ-AZ is a powerful new 4-deck all-in- one DJ system with the layout and features of a club-standard setup. This new unit has been designed to offer the ultimate all-in-one DJ experience, significantly evolving the features and usability of its predecessor, the XDJ-XZ.

Club-standard DJ experience with the feeling of complete control

With full-size jog wheels that feel just like those on the CDJ-3000, pitch bending and scratching on the XDJ-AZ are incredibly smooth. The mixer section inherits the intuitive layout of the DJM-A9, with all controls positioned to maximise playability. And it features user-friendly buttons for assigning Beat FX to help DJs express themselves through the music. So, after mastering the XDJ-AZ, DJs will be familiar with the way club-standard equipment works and feels, making it much easier to perform at their best in clubs.

Built-in Wi-Fi® and support for various media types

Thanks to the unit’s built-in Wi-Fi®, DJs can use the XDJ-AZ to play songs from the latest versions of their cloud-based music libraries and perform with up-to-date performance information, such as Hot Cues, anytime, anywhere. It’s possible to play tracks from Beatport’s vast catalog too, thanks to StreamingDirectPlay compatibility. This, coupled with the unit’s support for connecting a PC/Mac or mobile device, as well as external units such as turntables and samplers, gives the choice to play with music from various types of media.

Large touchscreen for seamless control

The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen on the XDJ-AZ doesn’t just give more visual information – it makes it easier to control everything too. Up to 13 tracks can be displayed at once – a massive increase from the 8 on the XDJ-XZ – so DJs can see more of their music and find songs quicker. Other advanced features include Playlist Bank, which up to 4 playlists can be registered to for rapid access, Touch Preview, which allows DJs to preview tracks in playlists without loading them, and Touch Cue, which can be used to preview the upcoming section of a track currently playing on the deck.

Standalone 4-deck playback

4-deck playback support on the XDJ-AZ gives DJs the flexibility to perform however they like. CDJs can be seamlessly synced with the unit too, so there’s no need to switch decks. With PRO DJ LINKTM compatibility, beat and on-air information are synced across the players, so DJs feel in full control

Integrated SonicLink transmitter

Thanks to the integrated SonicLink transmitter, DJs can enjoy ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. After pressing a single button to pair the XDJ-AZ with the headphones, it’s possible to move around the DJ booth or stage freely, without ever tangling or pulling on a cable. *The XDJ-AZ doesn’t support a wireless connection with the WAVE-EIGHT portable wireless DJ speaker.

Professional club-ready quality

Anyone who’s familiar with the preceding XDJ-XZ will notice various upgrades have been made in the design of the XDJ-AZ. By incorporating a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology, the sound quality has been significantly enhanced to create clear and dynamic audio that can rock large venues and clubs. The 3-Band Master EQ can be used to tweak the output sound according to the acoustic characteristics of the venue. And the unit features a dedicated button for the mixer settings, so DJs can quickly check and adjust the mixer’s status on-screen.
