The Zoom Livetrak L-8 makes it easy for content creators and musicians to mix, monitor, and record music performances and podcasts that sound professional, from anywhere. Record remote interviews with ease - use the provided 3.5mm TRRS cable to connect your phone. The Mix-Minus function automatically prevents audio feedback and echo from dial-in participants, or you can utilise the USB connection to route audio from Hangouts, Skype, Slack, Facetime and more. Also included is the four headphone output, so participants of a podcast can hear others clearly.

Pre-recorded inserts such as intros, outros, ads, jingles, sound effects are available at the touch of a button through 6 easily-assignable onboard Sound Pads. The Zoom Livetrak L-8 has all the features a podcaster needs.

The Zoom Livetrak L-8 has 6 independent, high performance preamps, which are transparent, powerful, and reliable. They have a low noise floor (-121dBU EIN), and maximum input gain of +54dB.

The L-8 can be used as a 12-in/4-out audio interface to record full episodes and separate tracks direct to your computer and SD card, and you can also live stream while recording. Record up to 10 tracks, and a stereo mix, directly to an SD card. Track directly into your favourite DAW, or use the USB return from your computer to run backing tracks.

The Zoom Livetrak L-8 can run up to 2 ½ hours with just 4 AA batteries, alternatively you can use a USB battery with the L-8’s unique USB connection design, so you can podcast from anywhere that inspires you, and not worry about disconnecting. The Zoom Livetrak L-8 is class compliant, allowing a connection with iOS devices, although an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter is required. There are two each Hi-Z, line-level and USB inputs.

The L-8 lets you save up to 7 scene memories that can instantly be recalled at the press of a button. The L-8 lets you create up to three individual monitor mixes, and you can also adjust each channel with EQ and onboard effects.

The L-8 is the ideal tool for small bands and singer-songwriters who want a compact, portable unit that allows them to record, mix, and edit their work to sound professional.

Power to the Podcast: Podcast creators are a special breed. They require a unique set of audio features, along with the flexibility of a proper mixing console. The LiveTrak L-8 combines Zoom’s famous audio performance with features made for podcasters.

  • Just press a button to play intros, outros, jingles, ads and sound effects. With 6 easily-assignable Sound Pads, the right sound is at your fingertips.

  • If you can’t hear yourself, how are you supposed to speak your mind? The L-8 is equipped with four headphone outputs, so that each participant can clearly hear what is going on.

  • The Zoom LiveTrak L-8 can run up to 2 ½ hours with just four AA batteries, or on a USB battery, so you can podcast from anywhere.
  • Used as an audio interface, the L-8 can record full episodes directly to your computer and an SD card simultaneously. You can also live stream while recording. (L-8 is class compliant, enabling connection with iOS devices. Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter required.)

Very happy with this. Audio quality much better than previous analog mixer and we can go back and rebalance the mix if we got it wrong first time, without rerecording the whole thing.
