Mahogany shell provides rich distinctive bass and high tones

The djembe features a mahogany shell which helps provide rich distinctive bass and ethereal high tones, perfect for creating a variety of different rhythms and melodies and may provide you with the perfect sound to accompany a composition.

Goat skin head and rope tuned gives this a very sensitive but hard-wearing playing surface

The drum comes with an authentic rope tuning which allows you to change the tone of the drum to suit your desired sound by tightening and loosening the rope around the drum. The drum also features a goatskin drum head which gives the drum a high sensitivity whilst also providing a hard-wearing surface area.

6-inch head and 12 inches high

The djembes compact size makes the drum highly transportable meaning you can play it wherever you are; whether you’re on the go or on the way to a festival. Despite the compact size, the 6-inch head is still enough space for you to create some unique African sounds.

Great drum for beginners and professionals

The smaller sized djembe makes it ideal for students and beginners, providing the opportunity for schools to educate students on different cultures through the form of music. On the contrary, the drum may also be used for professional use; particularly for individuals who travel a lot to perform for live gigs and festivals.
