The Wampler Cory Wong Compressor is a signature pedal designed with Grammy-nominated artist Cory Wong to deliver his signature clean, funky tones. Combining a compressor and a boost in one compact unit, it provides sparkling cleans, responsive compression, and the ability to shape your tone whether connected to an amp or directly into a recording interface.
Based on the Wampler EGO, the pedal features controls for Volume, Sustain, Attack, Blend, and Tone, allowing you to dial in precise compression and add chime. The Boost offers two modes: a flat boost or a rich, saturated boost with an extra presence around 550Hz. Dual footswitches manage compression and boost functions, and an XLR out allows for direct connection to a PA or recording setup. The always-on compression switch makes it stage-friendly, and the high-quality op-amp buffered bypass ensures clear tone. Built with premium components, it’s a versatile tool for sculpting tone on stage or in the studio, with top-mounted jacks and a compact design.
