Vintage V100AFD Reissued, Flamed Amber Overview

With a carved Flame Maple cap and solid carvedMahogany body providing excellent resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort, and two uncovered Wilkinson WVHZ Double Coil pickups providing classic raw power, the V100AFD is a traditionally styled and highly playable tone machine, which punches well above its weight.

Wilkinson's excellently crafted Tune-O-Matic bridge enables fine-tuning and superb intonation all over the fretboard, which remains superbly stable by way of Vintage Tulip Deluxe machine heads, and a 43mm Graphtech NuBone nut. A one piece Mahogany neck with a classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile, supplies supreme comfort, speed, and accuracy beneath a 12” radius Lignum Rosa™ fretboard; outstanding tonal transfer capabilities, responsiveness and durability with 22 Medium Jumbo frets creates a fantastically positive feel to this very stylish, great sounding, and affordable guitar.

Whether you're searching for your first guitar or your last, every member of the Vintage ReIssued Series is a keeper. Play on.

What Vintage say:

The Vintage ReIssued Series V100AFD is designed with only one purpose; to fuel your appetite for rock. A pair of uncovered Wilkinson WVHZ pickups provide this iconic looking axe with enough power to handle any high-gained situation, whilst a set of chrome straplocks ensure that your guitar stays safe and secure, no matter how low slung you like to wear it. With its array of classic rock tones, top spec hardware and 'Tiger stripe' finish, the Vintage ReIssued Series V100AFD is your first class ticket to Sunset Strip, c1987.

Really nice guitar, finished well, sounds really good and great value for money. The only thing that lets it down is that the plastic knob on the Wilkinson machine heads which does look a bit cheap.
