Universal Audio Apollo X6 Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface, HEXA Overview
The Universal Audio Apollo X6 Thunderbolt 3 is a great audio interface for electronic musicians and producers working on audio and music for TV, video games, and the web.
The interface has two Unison-enabled mic preamps, which deliver genuine tones of preamps from Neve, API, Manley, Helios, SSL, and more. Some of the lowest signal-to-noise ratio of any interface has been created with the newly-designed analogue circuitry giving you audio quality between 129 dB dynamic range and -188dB. Work in 5.1 surround sound using speaker calibration, and built-in talkback lets you communicate easily.
The Realtime Analog Classics Plus plug-in bundle is included, giving you a large range of sound options, including Marshall Plexi, Pultec, and Fairchild modelling EQ, and lots of effects such as reverb, delay, compression, and distortion.
If you need more inputs and outputs, you can combine the Apollo X6 Thunderbolt 3 with up to four more Thunderbolt-equipped Apollos, and the X6 allows for backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 1 and 2. Compatible with all major DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, and Ableton.
Upgrade to the Apollo X8 for more I/O.
