Universal Audio Apollo Solo Heritage Edition USB Audio Interface, Windows Only Overview
The Universal Audio Apollo Solo USB is a compact 2x4 audio interface with premium-level audio conversation, two Unison mic preamps and the Realtime Analog Classics plug-ins which give you emulations of solid-state and tube-based mic preamps and guitar amps. The instrument output, two analogue outputs, and headphone output provide enough inputs and outputs for most small tracking sessions, so this interface is great for smaller studios, producers on the road, engineers, singer-songwriters, and DJ’s.
The Unison-enabled mic preamps let you record through classic emulations for solid-state and tube base mic preamps and guitar amps, such as the UA 610-B Tube Preamp and EQ, and guitar amp tones from Marshall Plexi Classic and Fender ‘55 Tweed Deluxe, Ampeg, and more, all with almost no latency. There’s also Moog filters, Lexicon reverbs, Ampex tape settings, and more. There’s 24-bit/192 kHz audio conversion, and a headphone amp designed for accurate low noise monitoring.
This interface is for Windows only, so if you have a Mac, you should look at the Universal Audio Apollo Solo Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface.
