Taylor's Academy 12e makes aims to make the playing experience more accessible in every way. In doing this the Taylor Academy 12e packs signature Taylor playing features into an affordable package featuring Taylor's compact Grand Concert body. Their Grand Concert (GC) body is the perfect companion for fingerpicking and anyone with a lighter touch who likes the touch and response of a smaller body.

The Taylor Academy 12e's specs are optimised for playing ease with Taylor's patented, slim-profile neck and a plethora of hand-friendly touches: a shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length, 1-11/16-inch nut width, low action, and light gauge strings, all of which contribute to a slinky handfeel. Plus the Academy series forearm contour is an amazingly unique addition.

The guitar comes with an onboard ES-B pickup that includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner, and comes with a sturdy lightweight gig bag.
