Taylor Academy 10 Dreadnought Acoustic with Gig Bag Overview

The Taylor Academy 10 Dreadnought distills the features of a great Taylor guitar and cuts out some of the frills to bring in down in budget. Taylor designed the Academy Series for the developing player, so their goal was to create as comfortable and inviting a playing experience as possible. The guitars are based around the classic combo of layered sapele back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, buts add a built-in armrest to soften the edge of the body for enhanced playing comfort.

The Academy 10 has Taylor's patented neck featuring a slightly shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length, 1-11/16-inch nut width, and light gauge strings, which make fretting and bending strings easier.

Tonally the Academy 10 is bold with a warm low end and punchy treble, making it a great option for strummers and flatpickers.
