The Squier Bullet Series is a great opportunity to begin your guitar journey at a convenient price. To not only learn with a guitar embodying the classic Fender designs, the Squier Bullet Series offers very versatile options for all your playing needs while making the search for your first guitar an absolute breeze.
Fender has manufactured some of the most popular Electric Guitars since 1950, including the iconic Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Mustangs. Squier replicates Fender guitars at a more affordable price.
An electric guitar is a great place to start because of its amp and effects options. The ability to plug into an amp, switch up your sound and experiment is beneficial to finding your style. The design of these guitars even contributes to your comfort while playing, having a contoured body with light strings that won’t hurt your fingers as much as an acoustic.
The Squier Bullet has various guitars included in their range. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster has three-single coil pickups ideal for various styles, while the Squier Bullet Telecaster also has single-coil pickups and is well-suited for fans of indie and country music. The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers, a great option for those who love it heavy and distorted.
What makes the Squier Bullet Series such a steal for beginners is how it combines a reliable brand with cost-effective options, while still having quality sound and design. The variety of colours offered is another bonus in this ideal range.
Squier Bullet Stratocaster
The Squier Bullet Stratocaster has multiple configurations, including HSS, Hardtail, and Tremolo. It also comes with an easy-to-play “C”-shaped neck profile.
HSS is the pickup configuration or the “microphones” that pick up the movement of the strings. HSS means Humbucker, Single Coil, Single Coil. The Humbucker pickup is quieter and more powerful, whereas single coils are valued for their clarity and expression. The Tremolo bridge lets you pitch-shift by using the whammy bar, which is great for experimenting. The Hardtail bridge is great for tuning stability if you don’t want your guitar going out of tune regularly.
Squier Bullet Telecaster
The Squier Bullet Telecaster has dual single-coil pickups with three-way switching that produce various sounds to stylize your playing. A hardtail six-saddle bridge has reliable tuning stability, benefiting those who don’t like to tune their guitar often. Its ‘C’ shape maple neck is the universal comfy shape and is easy to learn with. Completed with Indian laurel fretboard with 22 frets, and chrome hardware.
Squier Bullet Mustang
The Squier Bullet Mustang incarnates the original Mustang, first introduced as a student guitar.
The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers which make it ideal for playing heavy rock as they’re better for overdrive and distortion. It offers rock-solid tuning stability from a modern hardtail bridge. There is a comfy ‘C’ shape maple neck and 22 medium jumbo frets, making it easy to play. It is also well-suited for kids because of its smaller size.
If you want a slightly better guitar, still including all you need to get started, try the Squier Affinity Series, which uses an alder and Poplar bodies rather than low-cost materials, and higher-quality pickups. The Squier Paranormal Series offers the same with the addition of retro shapes and classic/vintage hybrids. Both have great entry-level guitars at a slightly higher price point.
