Seymour Duncan SL-59-1b Little '59 for Strat, Bridge (White) Overview

For Stratocaster, any position

P.A.F.-voiced single-coil-sized humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock. This little brute was designed to impart the warm, smooth tone of an old Patent Applied For humbucker in a direct replacement, single-coil size. It possesses an even, dynamic response, and its adjustable pole pieces allow the guitarist to fine tune the string balance and dial in just the right amount of punch. Compared to the JB Jr., it has less output and more upper-mids. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. Available for both bridge and neck/middle positions; and in an incredibly versatile set with an SJBJ-1b JB Jr. in the bridge, an SDBR-1n Duckbuckers in the middle and an SL59-1n Little '59 in the neck. For all well-balanced instruments. Works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.

great option to beef up your strat-style guitar without having to make too many alterations. In series (humbucker) wiring there is a nice fat and thick tone with the sound of a humbucker. A slight compromise means you may not get a typical single coil tone but still a useable sound. Have wired mine in series/parallel wiring so i can get a pseudo single coil sound and that humbucker tone. You could wire as a single coil by bypassing one of the coils but i chose parallel wiring to retain the noise-cancelling properties in both modes. Had to change volume pot from 250k to 500k to get the desired brightness for this pickup but that made the neck and mid single coils too bright so another mod made to tame their highs. i now have a very versatile strat with a wide palette of tones.

Immense sound from a little pickup. Ive tried lots of pickups and this is the first time ive upgraded a pickup and not been dissapointed with the result.
