Unlike coated heads, Remo's clear drumheads have a bright attack but the same excellent durability. The Clear Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a single ply 10-mil Mylar® film to produce an open, bright, and resonant sound with plenty of attack. Remo = quality. I use these Remo Ambassador Clear as resonant heads on toms and floor toms (and the hazy on the snare side) and combine with Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated batter heads for a really appealing controlled sound which still gives a moderate amount reverb and sustain (further control the sound by adding moon gel to your batter heads to achieve the exact level of sound you want).
