This 2004 PRS 513 in Blue Matteo is an exceptional instrument, offering unparalleled versatility with its five pickups and 13 tonal combinations. This premium model is particularly sought after, featuring the rare and highly desirable solid Brazilian Rosewood neck, available only for a limited time.

Finished in stunning blue matteo, this guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with only minor wear visible under close inspection. The frets show slight cosmetic wear but retain plenty of life, and all electronics function flawlessly. Crafted with a Mahogany body and a beautifully flamed carved Maple top, the 513 boasts a luxurious solid Brazilian Rosewood neck with the comfortable 513 carve, a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl bird inlays, and a matching Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay.

The 25 1/4" scale length, PRS tremolo bridge, and locking tuners complete the high-end build quality. At the heart of the 513 is its innovative pickup system, delivering 13 unique tones through five proprietary single-coil pickups. The simple yet powerful control layout includes a volume knob, tone knob, and two blade switches—one for five-way pickup selection and another three-way mode switch that toggles between single coil, clear humbucker, and heavy humbucker modes.

This design allows for seamless transitions from thick, screaming humbuckers to crisp, sparkling single-coil tones, making it one of Paul Reed Smith’s most versatile creations.

It has been set up, restrung and deep-cleaned by our in-house technician and includes a hard case.
