Polyend Press Analog Stereo Compressor Pedal Overview

Press is a fully analog stereo compressor with features typically found only in professional studio gear but with additional controls used in modern VSTs blending the tight, natural response of classic analog rack units with additional controls and features that cannot be found in other pedals.

Analog Stereo Compressor

Quality was the priority when designing Press. The Press is a transparent VCA compressor that preserves your tone without any unwanted coloration. Press enhances your sound whether you are polishing a studio mix or adding some control to a live performance.

The Press packs all the controls needed to get the right compressor settings in any scenario from limiting to subtle parallel compression. Separate attack and release, threshold and ratio controls and side chain highpass and lowpass filters allow for precise control. Perfect for guitars, synths or drum machines, Press is the ideal tool for musicians and producers who need both flexibility and power.

Press is the ultimate end of chain compressor to glue your mix, pedalboard or drum buss together. With TRS stereo I/O and tight, polished compression that can be controlled with separate attack and release knobs, the press is perfect as an end of chain mastering device. Control peaky reverb tails, noisy synths, or smooth out the volume from all your effects.

Press features unique stereo Sidechain control that cannot be found in any other analog compressor pedal. The High and Low pass filters work on either the Stereo input or the external stereo sidechain thru. This allows for precise control of the sound triggering the sidechain by stopping problem frequencies from triggering the gain reduction circuit. Use the LPF to filter out the high end of a bass guitar or the HPF to remove the boom from a kick drum to sculpt your sound in ways that were not possible in analog pedals before.
