7-Inch High-Resolution Colour LED Touch Screen

The screen that features on the XDJ-1000MK2 is the same as the CDJ-2000NXS2, Pioneer DJ’s previous flagship Multi-Player. This displays all the necessary information you need to see whilst mixing, such as BPM, Key, Track Name and Hot Cue/Memory Info You can also view large RBG waveforms and use the 2 new browsing features, Matching and Track Filter.

Matching: Use this setting to highlight tracks in your music library that would mix well with one and another. When enabled the XDJ-1000MK2 will suggest matched songs that you could play next.

Track Filter: Filter tracks by rekordbox information such as My Tag, BPM and Key. This is a great way to refine your search and give you the confidence to access any song in your library quickly and efficiently.

Track browsing is also helped by the QWERTY keyboard, allowing you to quickly search specific tracks on the fly.

In order to truly give the XDJ-1000MK2 a standalone DJing experience, you can use the screen to access essential performance features. You can access 8 Hot Cues, adjust loop value, access Beat Jump and enable/disable Quantise. With the use of quantising, cue and loop points, on tracks that have been analysed in rekordbox, will automatically play in time.

High-Quality File Support And Playback

In order to sound as professional as possible, the XDJ-1000MK2 supports playback of FLAC and ALAC files, as well as MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF files. You can store analysed tracks from rekordbox directly to a USB Key, making the XDJ-1000 standalone, or connect to a laptop if you prefer.

To enhance the quality of your playback by using the Digital Out. Using the Digital Output will send audio without degradation and its digital circuit is completely separated from the analogue power supply circuit. Not only does this reduce unwanted noise, it also frees up your analogue RCA Outputs to connect to other gear.

Pro DJ Link

This is an advanced feature to allow the XDJ-1000MKII to sync with other Pioneer DJ products via an ethernet connection. With Pro DJ Link, you can connect up to four decks together and use a single USB Memory stick to control them all. You can even specify which of the 4 decks is the master, making the setup even more simple.

When using a 4 deck setup, you can load and cue tracks across four different DJ Players, each with their own markers that you would have previously set up within rekordbox. The XDJ-1000MK2 uses Beat Count, a setting that will countdown to your marker from 64 bars away, preventing you from missing drops, transitions or major parts of a track.

To help you cue tracks in time, every time, the Pro DJ Link also include Phase Meter. Phase Meter allows you to view the first beat of every bar of an analysed track, making for each track alignment. Alternatively, you can use Beat Sync to automatically align the beat positions and BPMs of your tracks.
