Compact 2-Channel DJ Controller

The DDJ-FLX2 is an easy-to-use controller that’s perfect for anyone who’s thinking of starting to DJ. After installing one of several compatible DJ applications on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and connecting it to the DDJ-FLX2, DJs will be ready to seamlessly mix tracks and apply exciting effects with ease, just like professionals do. They can even start DJing using compatible streaming services (in countries where streaming is available), such as Apple Music via Algoriddim’s djay app.

Compatibility with multiple DJ applications and streaming services

The DDJ-FLX2 works with various DJ applications including rekordbox and djay. After installing their preferred app on a mobile device, DJs can connect to the controller and start mixing right away. If they want to learn more advanced techniques, they can use DJ software on their PC/Mac, including Serato DJ Lite. Each DJ application is compatible with different streaming services. Smart CFX and Smart Fader

It’s easy to replicate the seamless song mixing of professional DJs thanks to the Smart CFX1 and Smart Fader*1 features on the DDJ-FLX2. Smart CFX enables DJs to recreate complex and dynamic effect techniques used by professionals with a simple turn of knob. It can be used for connecting tracks together and for making performances more dynamic by adding emphasis to the music at any time. Smart Fader automatically optimizes control of the volume, BPM, and bass – which is all needed when transitioning between tracks – and all the DJ has to do is slide the crossfader in one direction. With this feature, DJs can easily mix tracks from different genres, even if they have vastly different tempos (BPM).

Performance Pads for pro-style DJing

It’s easy to manipulate music with the Performance Pads on the DDJ-FLX2. Pad Mode Select allows DJs to switch between various modes, including Hot Cue mode, where any point in a track can be marked – e.g., the intro or chorus – like a bookmark which allows the DJ to instantly jump to that point. With Pad FX, a variety of effects can be applied simply by pressing the pads. And, using the sampler, DJs can add sound effects or try performance techniques like finger drumming.

Lightweight, compact body with user-friendly features

The DDJ-FLX2 is AlphaTheta’s lightest and most compact DJ controller. It runs on USB bus power, so there’s no need for an external power supply when it’s connected to a PC/Mac or a mobile device2 via USB Type-C. Music can be played through the built-in speakers of a PC/Mac/mobile device, or speakers can be plugged into the audio output terminals of the DDJ-FLX2.
