Orange PPC212OB 120W 2x12 Open Back Cab, Orange Overview
The Orange PPC212OB is fitted with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, its open back (OB) design accentuates the top end frequencies and softens the bass response, giving an airier tone than Orange's regular PPC212.
The split rear/open back panel means the delivery is less directional, giving things a more three-dimensional feel. The added presence and chime makes the PPC212OB especially suited for cleaner styles, or for players who want a more vintage combo-type tone from their amp head.
The PPC212OB is made from an 18mm birch plywood shell with Orange's signature skid runners secured to the base to help acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage.
