Orange Crush Bass 25 1x8 Combo, Black Overview

The Orange Crush Bass 25 is the smallest in the Orange Crush Bass family. This 25W amp is great for bedroom players, rehearsing, or jamming with friends.

The Orange Crush Bass 25 has an all-analogue signal path and an active 3-band EQ with a parametric mid-band, allowing control over a wide range of frequencies, as well as the bass and treble, and has an 8” speaker with a ported cabinet which creates more output, providing an improved low-end response, and sounding louder than a sealed cabinet. It also has a built-in tuner so you can tune up easily and spend more time practising.

It has an aux input so you can play along to backing tracks, this is especially ideal for anyone that’s new to the bass, and a headphone out with the CabSim feature, emulating the response of an OBC bass speaker so you can practice without disturbing anybody, and still get a high-quality sound.

The Orange Crush Bass 25 is also available in Orange

Fancy an upgrade? The Orange Crush Bass 50 1x12 Combo has 50W of power, 12" speaker, Gain and Blend controls, and buffered effects loop

BRINGING THE ‘ORANGE SOUND’ TO THE REHEARSAL ROOM…

You wouldn’t compromise your bass sound with the band, so why should practising at home be any different? Whilst the Crush Bass 25 may be the smallest model in the Crush Bass amp range, it still retains the warm and rounded tonal character that makes Orange Amps the choice of some of the world’s most iconic bass players.

This 25 Watt combo features an all-analogue signal path, a ported cabinet for improved low end response plus a highly responsive active EQ section. Like the rest of the Crush Bass range, the amp’s variable parametric mid band allows for unlimited control over a broad range of frequencies in addition to the bass and treble. Dial in a massive range of classic bass tones or create your own. With an integrated tuner, an aux. input for backing tracks and a headphone output with our CabSim circuitry, the Crush Bass 25 gives all players the perfect miniature rig on which to hone their tone.

POWERFUL ACTIVE PARAMETRIC EQ

The Crush Bass 25 features an EQ circuit inspired by our prestigious 4 Stroke Series amplifiers. At its centre is a parametric mid band. This presents players with a much greater degree of control over the sound than a traditional EQ, allowing them to vary the frequencies they want hear. The mid band covers a wide range, sweeping from 300Hz (fully counter-clockwise) to 2.7kHz (fully clockwise), meaning this amp can be fine tuned to suit any musical style. The active circuitry allows for up to 15dB of boost or cut on the bass and middle frequencies, and up to 20dB on the treble side.

ANALOGUE DESIGN & PORTED CABINET

The Crush Bass series delivers a fat, rounded sound thanks to an all-analogue signal path. The Crush Bass 25 houses a 8” speaker with a reflex port for improved low-end response.

CABSIM HEADPHONE OUTPUT, AUX INPUT & CHROMATIC TUNER

The headphone output features our Cabsim circuitry which emulates the response of our stage-ready OBC bass speaker cabinets during silent practice. This signal can also be sent to a console for seriously authentic direct recording. The Aux. Input allows for connecting external audio sources for backing tracks whilst the handy onboard tuner makes for quick tune-ups between jams.

Sounds amazing for the size, it's also not very heavy so I can carry it when I need to.

Has all I need in compact system, but intuitive user interface. Equaliser, with a frequency sweep option for the mid. Aux input with a 9mm socket, and 1/4 inch jack for headphones. The tuner is a great touch, if a little bit iffy on some notes - means I can quickly check tuning without needing to get the app out on my phone.. Use the equaliser to drop bass so I can practise and make out the notes clearer, but when the song needs it, I pull up the bass for the full sound. Nice and rich sound, but that said, I try not to raise the roof so I practise at low volume - so can't tell the full range yet.
