Great little controller

I previously owned an S5 which is too big for current lifestyle.. being Traktor Pro trained I decided to go for S2 to keep in touch .. a fantastic piece of equipment and full of tricks with the software.. I even did a live dub DJ set recently and it was brilliant not as good as S5 but for the price .. stunning ..

I spent a long time researching this product... and others! I was very happy with my eventual choice. The Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 Digital DJ Controller has features that only tend to be found on units that are twice the price. This is considered to be an 'entry level' unit... however, it is well made, sturdy and well set out... At the moment, DJ'ing is just a fun hobby, and it is possibly true that if I started to take it up professionally, then I might get a more expensive unit, but it is unlikely that I would ever get rid of my S2 MK3... This is a highly recommended unit. For the price, nothing else in the market comes even close... Great product that is a credit to Native Instruments...

Can’t go wrong, light, yet solid construction, absolutely reliable. Has everything for basic mixing. Rocking the crowd every weekend!

This might be an entry level controller, but Traktor products are always amazing. Literally cannot fault it for bedroom DJing. I intend to add a Traktor X1 "into the mix" for more creativity. Wipes the floor with the DDJ-400 due to the software. Rekordbox just does not have the finesse of Traktor Pro 3.
