The Mesa Boogie Stiletto Deuce Stage 1 is a powerful and versatile EL-34-driven amplifier, handcrafted in Petaluma, California, that delivers the signature British-inspired tones Mesa is renowned for, with modern refinements for ultimate performance and control.
Featuring the innovative Multi-Watt Power Amp, this amp allows you to assign either 50W or 100W of Class A/B power to each channel via independent power switches, utilizing either 2 or 4 EL-34 tubes alongside its robust preamp and rectifier tube complement of 5x12AX7 and 2x5U4 tubes.
With two fully independent channels and six versatile modes, the Stiletto Deuce provides an expansive tonal palette. Channel 1 offers Fat Clean, Tite Clean, or Crunch, while Channel 2 shifts into higher gear with Crunch, Tite Gain, or the soaring saturation of Fluid Drive. Each channel is fully equipped with independent Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, and Master controls, ensuring precision shaping of your sound. Mesa’s Recto Tracking technology gives you the option to assign tube or diode rectification to each channel, tailoring response and feel to your preferences.
The amp also features a Bold/Spongy “Variac” Switch, allowing you to alter voltage for dynamic power and response adjustments. Additional pro-grade features include a Fully Buffered FX Loop, a true “hard” bypass switch for removing the loop and output controls from the signal path, a Slave Out with level control, and External Switching Jacks for seamless integration with your rig.
