Tailor To Your Room
A huge part of what sets the KRK Rokit G4 apart from the G3 is the onboard state-of-the-art DSP, which can be used to tailor the monitors to your acoustic environment. The visual graphic equalizer can be used to easily compensate for the lack or overabundance of frequencies in your room and provides you with 25 EQ presets.
You can instantly check where the graphic EQ settings are with the built-in LCD. If you want to get deeper with real-time spectral analysis, you can use the game-changing free KRK audio tools app (available on iOS & Android).
The free KRK app, which includes a handy Spectrum RTA tool, makes getting the most out of your monitors a breeze. It can assist with level matching, speaker placement, polarity, subwoofer level and choice of EQ setting. The app uses a sine wave signal generator to intelligently help you calibrate your system and get it sounding its best. Whilst the EQ Recommendation Tool has been designed to achieve the flattest, most neutral response, you can totally ignore it and follow your ear if you so choose.
Exceptional Sound - At Any Volume
A signature trait of the KRK Rokit series is its robust build quality and the G4 is no different. In fact, the 4th generation steps up the durability with the introduction of extremely rigid Kevlar drivers, which feature incredible tensile strength, impressively low-noise sound reproduction across the whole frequency range.
Iconic Bass Response
KRK monitors are renowned for their low-end presence and due to the G4’s resonance-reducing enclosure and front-firing port, this latest iteration certainly delivers in this regard. The front-firing port also means you have more freedom when placing your Rokit monitor. Unlike a rear-firing port, you can place it near a wall and retain a clear, accurate low-frequency response.
Thanks to the fluid speaker mechanics and scientifically designed high-frequency waveguide, the KRK Rokit G4’s boast a spacious 3D soundstage, stereo spot-on imaging, and consistent air pressure behaviour. The result is a wide, deep and dynamic listening experience at any volume. The Rokit G4’s also produce minimal ear fatigue (also known as listener fatigue), making them perfect for extended mixing and playback sessions.
Upgraded Power Amp
The efficient Class D power amplifier design that’s at the core of the KRK Rokit G4 series was redesigned and upgraded from the ground up. KRK’s custom-designed Class D power amp is more efficient than ever, delivering a punchier audio signal, improved integrity and a cooler operating temperature than the Class AB amplifiers used in the previous generation. Plus, the Class D power amp is a lot lighter, which makes the Rokit G4 easier to transport if you’re regularly on the move.
Another upgrade to the Rokit G4 series is the built-in Brickwall Limiter, which maintains a balanced sound, improves the dynamic range and protects the system. It achieves this by automatically engaging when the amp is maxed out, safeguarding your studio monitor against damage.
Perfect Fit
The KRK Rokit G4 series comes in a variety of sizes - RP5 (5"), RP7 (7"), RP8 (8") & RP10 (10") - allowing you to choose the right one for your studio.
If you’re working in a smaller space where you may not be able to trust the low-end, we recommend the RP5. The RP7 and RP8 are a great choice for most home studios, as they offer a solid balance of compactness and bass response. For rooms on the larger side that have some acoustic treatment, the RP10 is the one we’d go for.
