JHS Pedals Kodiak Tremolo Pedal Overview

The JHS Kodiak is an all-encompassing tremolo based on classic Vox and Blackface tremolo sounds, delivering classic clean modulation all contained in a small, compact unit. If you use lots of tremolo in your sound, this would be an ideal addition to your pedalboard.

It has 5 control knobs - Volume controls the output volume, you turn the Mix knob all the way down and use the Volume control to boost your amp or other pedals, acting as a preamp. Speed lets you adjust the speed of the tremolo, Ratio controls the ratio of the tapped in speed for faster speeds with fewer taps - you can switch between quarter, dotted eighth, eighth, and triplet note divisions, so you can dial in a fast shimmer or a slow, throbbing tremolo. Wave is a 4-way rotary knob that lets you choose from 4 different wave types - Sine, which delivers a classic amp-like tremolo you’d find in classic surf music, Rhythmic, which delivers more of an on-off stutter, Square, which gives a more choppy, broken signal effects, and Ramp, which offers infinite cascading swells. The Mix control lets you adjust the mix/depth of the tremolo, making it sound more wet or dry.

There are two footswitches, one for Tap Tempo / Expression Pedal, which can be connected through the jack on the right side of the pedal, with the switch on the left side letting you select which you want to use, making it great for real-time adjustments at gigs.

THIS PEDAL REQUIRES STANDARD 9V DC NEGATIVE POWER, CONSUMES 10MA, AND MEASURES 2.6"X4.8"X1.6"
