Ibanez RG652AHMFX Prestige, Royal Plumb Burst Overview
This model is part of the RG series, Ibanez’s flagship range. As a Prestige model, it’s a high-end guitar made in Japan, using only the best luthiers, processes and materials to make high-quality guitars.
It has an Ash body, and a slim Super Wizard HP 5 piece Maple and Walnut neck, and on top of that is a bound Birdseye Maple fretboard with 24 Jumbo frets. For pickups these models have a DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker at the neck, which provides a deep and warm tone without sounding muddy, and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone pickup at the bridge, which delivers great bass and midrange response, while the highs have depth, making chords sound big and giving you a wide dynamic range. This combination of pickups provides the perfect blend of power and tone.
It also has a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, which keeps you in tune, provides a balanced tone, and increased harmonics. The look is completed with the Royal Plum Burst finish and black hardware
