The 27-inch scale neck optimizes the rich, thick tone of down-tuning while maintaining proper string tension. The 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck delivers rock-solid stability, even with the increased tension of the longer scale.
This Made-In-Japan guitar achieves the three principles of the Prestige line: Precision, Performance and Playability. The RG2027 utilizes the Lo-Pro Edge 7 bridge, which offers maximum playing comfort due to its streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. The Maccasor Ebony fretboard has a tight response and also contributes to the beautiful appearance of this guitar. The meticulous Prestige fret edge treatment provides extra-smooth playing. DiMarzio® Fusion Edge pickups produce a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end with no muddy mid-range. A hard-shell case is included.
