Ibanez PNB14E Parlour Electro Acoustic Bass, Open Pore Natural Overview

PNB14E

The PNB is a short-scale acoustic bass guitar that utilizes a parlor body shape. This compact instrument is ideal for situations such as playing on the couch, outdoors, or during informal occasions. However, the PNB is also a valuable on-stage tool. With a 25-inch short scale similar in feel to a regular guitar, it is more comfortable for both guitarists and electric bassists to play than a full-size acoustic bass. The shorter scale and compact parlor body also make it a more user-friendly platform for beginners. Despite its compact body size, the PNB has an impressively powerful acoustic volume.

Amazing, beautiful quality and sound. Acoustic, jazz, light rock and Rnb tones. Really nice for such a low price.

Brilliant little addition. Excellent tone. The size is perfect for my needs. Looks really groovy with the squeezed parlour body. Plugged in it sounds chunky and wholesome. Scale length is great fun and I can play things impossible for me on a full scale bass, especially my double bass! The strings have a very light tension and I think Ibanez have done well in utilising this available technology. The price is a big factor too. A Taylor it ain't but a good fun working mini-bass it is. Thumbs up from me and I'm looking forward to it's first gig this weekend. TNEB.
