A different neck to the Fenders I am used to, but I adjusted to it very quickly and find it a joy to play. Sounds and feels great, and it's a good build quality. Intonation was out very slightly at first but it's easy to remedy. I'd recommend changing the strings, I put a set of Hofner strings on and it's playing and sounding so much better.

With strings changed to flat wound retro sound was achieved. A good looking bass.

You can be Paul McCartney on a budget. This bass is totally punching above its weight, great feel and sound. Yes I'm a Beatles nerd and tracked down a replica bassman sticker (I've also removed the scratch plate since taking these photos)
