Item in good condition (small marks or scratches)

The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Hollow Body in Aspen Green is a standout instrument that combines classic design with modern features, offering exceptional playability and tone. It features a single-cutaway hollow body constructed from five-ply maple, providing a resonant and vibrant tonal foundation. The arched maple top enhances its acoustic qualities, delivering a balanced sound with pronounced lows and mids, complemented by a smooth high end.

Equipped with dual Black Top Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, this guitar produces a wide, balanced, and transparent tone. These pickups are known for their clarity and punch, making the G5420T suitable for various musical styles. The G5420T offers a versatile control layout, including individual pickup volume controls, a master tone control, and a master volume with a treble bleed circuit. This configuration allows for precise tonal shaping and maintains clarity at different volume levels.

The maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard provides a comfortable playing experience, featuring a 12-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. The pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays add a touch of vintage elegance to the instrument.

A Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece adds expressive capabilities, allowing for smooth pitch modulation. The anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge ensures stable intonation and tuning stability, even during extensive use of the vibrato. The G5420T is finished in a striking Aspen Green gloss urethane, complemented by aged multi-ply body binding and oversized bound F-holes, enhancing its visual appeal. The smaller late-'50s G6120 bound headstock and vintage-style open-back tuning machines contribute to its classic aesthetic.

It has been set up, restrung and deep-cleaned by our second-hand department and does not include a gig bag or hard case.
