Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s, Unburst Overview

Gibson has gone back to its roots and taken feedback from musicians and retailers, redesigning the range from scratch to deliver the Gibson Original Collection which is a no-nonsense range that is pure Gibson tone and amazing build quality.

The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s pays tribute to Gibson’s golden era, bringing authenticity and classic sounds to the modern era. It has a solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, a slim taper '60s-style mahogany neck topped with a 22-fret fingerboard with a 12" radius made from rosewood, a graph tech nut and Grover Rotomatic kidney tuners, and an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge for tuning stability.

For pickups, the Gibson LP Standard '60s has a set of 60s Burstbucker humbuckers, both of which have Alnico V magnets and deliver a classic voice with added power and an open, airy top-end sparkle.

The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s is completed with nickel hardware, classic acrylic trapezoid inlays, gold top hat control knobs, a cream pickguard, and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

This Les Paul comes with 10-46 strings, a Hard Shell case, and a Gibson Accessory Kit.

Available in Bourbon Burst, Iced Tea, and Unburst.

It’s a beautiful instrument in every way - the finish is a stunning piece of work and it sounds fantastic, just like all my favourite rock records from the 60s onwards...
