Gibson ES-335-12 TDC 12-String Hollow Body, 1966, Second-Hand Overview
Super cool and very rare 1966 Gibson ES-335-12TDC for sale in good condition relative to its age!
Introduced in 1965, the ES-335-12 was Gibson’s response to the immense popularity of 12-string guitars in the 1960s, with an estimate of just over 2050 units shipped between then, and 1970 when the model was discontinued.
The guitar has developed a beautiful patina over the past 58 years, with some nice checking throughout the body and some sizable dings to the enlarged headstock, but no damage that compromises the guitar’s structural integrity!
It features all original hardware, pots & caps, plus the original PAF pickups with polyurethane-coated wire and sounds glorious when plugged in.
The guitar is currently missing its original hardcase but we’re on the hunt for a replacement!
