Woodstock, Altamont, Monterey, and beyond to blues, hard rock, punk, and alternative rock - is there anywhere that hasn't featured an appearence by Gibson's classic and immortal SG?

Featuring matched 490/498 pickups, 1960 SlimTaper neck with bound ebony fingerboard, Plek'd medium jumbo frets, mother-of pearl block inlays, gold hardware, and vintage nitro finish, this Nashville made Custom Shop model is yet another footnote in this guitars long and illustrious career.

This guitar of course excels with its snarling SG bite, but roll back the volume, and beautifully clean tones will shine through. A few more twists and switching of the controls and you're ready for jazz, blues, funk, reggae, and even country; the Gibson SG Custom does it all with charisma and unstoppable playability.

Another excellent addition to this guitars long line - one which provides the look and feel of a lovingly cared for classi that will only improve with age.

This guitar sounds huge and it is very light at around 7 pounds in weight. The finish is flawless and frets are super smooth with no rough edges. The guitar arrived ready to play out of the strong Gibson box requiring no adjustments from me to play as I normally do. Notes really sing and barre chords with overdrive sound really huge. The case is luxurious and has a good sized compartment with a lid for storing spare strings, picks and a strap. Overall, this is an extremely comfortable and playable electric guitar and is stunning to look at. Highly recommended.
