Gibson Custom 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS, Washed Cherry Sunburst Overview
The Gibson Les Paul has to be one of the most - if not the most - iconic electric guitars ever made, and this outstanding reissue of a classic 1958 incarnation recreates all the charisma, tone, and sheer playability of the original - at a fraction of the cost.
With its carved Maple top and solid Mahogany back, the 1958 Les Paul Standard VOS exudes quality, craftmanship, and timeless design. A 1950's rounded profile neck with a Rosewood fingerboard provides comfort and unquestionable playability, while the period correct ABR-1 brass saddled bridge, aluminum tailpiece, and Kluson tuners ensure that tuning stability is not compromised. Alnico III CustomBuckers neck and bridge pickups provide the classic Les Paul tone, which is in turn manipulated by the familiar two volume / two tone potentiometers - complete with "bumblebee" capacitors and a three-way amber capped toggle switch.

The 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue features all the painstaking historic construction methods of the famous '59 Reissues with a few historically-accurate spec differences that allow it stand on its own. Like the 1958 originals, it has narrow frets which help more of the fingerboard wood to be heard in the tone profile. It also has a round, chunky neck profile for a full feel and maximum bending leverage. And finally it has a beautiful plain maple top; each is unique and full of character. Available in a variety of classic sunburst shades.
