After a successful relaunch in 2019, the Gibson Montana range has embraced its heritage while incorporating the finest modern luthiery techniques to create a true modern classic. Enhancing the renowned Gibson Acoustic J-45 series.

The legacy of the Gibson J-45 continues with the new Custom Historic 1942 Banner J-45. Drawing inspiration from the iconic vintage acoustic instruments, luthiers in Montana have meticulously crafted a J-45 that mirrors the most celebrated version in structure and components. The 1942 Banner J-45 features a Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top with a historic-style burst finish, hot hide glue top bracing for enhanced tonal response, and a bone nut and saddle.
