Gibson Acoustic L-00 Standard, Vintage Sunburst, Left Handed Overview

Gibson's legendary L-00 arrived in 1932 and instantly became a firm favourite with blues and folk players. This modern day incarnation stays true to form to produce the classic tones it is renowned for, whilst incorporating essential modern features.

It's no lie when players state how the diminutive size of this narrow waisted parlour guitar disguises what is a focused, articulate, superb sounding, and playing, instrument. A Sitka Spruce top over Mahogany back and sides supplies incredible punch with pulsating lows and sizzling highs, along with an unrivalled dynamic range. The SlimTaper Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard serve to provide exceptional playability, and what was originally a Gibson base model, now features a specification only matched by its inimitable sound; mother-of-pearl dot fingerboard inlays, Mini Grover Rotomatic tuners, and LR Baggs VTC electronics show just how far this humble design has travelled.

A truly classic guitar updated and enhanced - a definite key to the highway for those that have ramblin' on their mind!

What Gibson say:

A guitar developed in the '30s has been given a revamp for 2019 to offer you a versatile small bodied acoustic with incredible projection and a rich tone. The Gibson 2019 L-00 Standard captures the heritage of the exemplary early models but with some modern adjustments to offer you a perfectly balanced easy playing guitar that you won't want to put down. Featuring a Solid Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany Back and Sides, hand scalloped X bracing, Slim Taper Mahogany neck with Rosewood fretboard and the LR Baggs VTC Pickup it's easy to see why this has become an industry standard.

Great looking, and amazing sound, even in my novice hands. The smaller parlour size is definitely better than a full size, and is easy to play.Beautiful instrument, that you want to pick up,and play.Worth the extra investment.Set up and ready to play straight out of the box.
