The Fender Vintera II 60s Precision Bass emerges from the esteemed new-for-2023 Vintera II range, a line that combines the timeless charm of vintage Fender guitars and basses with the slick performance of a modern-made instrument. Just like the rest of the Vintera II series, this 4-string bass guitar features the top-tier construction and quality that Fender’s Ensenada factory is renowned for.

Classic Tonewoods

When it comes to tonewood, this bass employs an alder body that’s celebrated for its robust and balanced sound profile, augmented by a touch of bite in the upper mid-range for precise note articulation. The Maple neck, carved into an early-'60s “C” profile, is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, flaunting an old-school 7.25-inch radius and vintage-tall frets. Whether you’re playing straight-ahead punk riffs or intricate walking jazz lines, the Vintera II 60s Precision Bass will feel superb to play.

Vintage Voiced Pickup

As with all models in the Fender Vintera II series, the 60s Precision Bass features a vintage-voiced pickup that mirrors the original. This early-'60s split-coil pickup produces the warm, woody and dynamic P-Bass tone that’s graced countless classic recordings.

Robust Hardware

Fender prepare the Vintera II 60s Precision Bass for the rigours of live and studio use with top-grade hardware across the board. The vintage-style 4-saddle bridge and fine-gear tuning machines, in addition to complimenting the 60s aesthetic, ensure optimal tuning stability and precise intonation.
