The Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Closet Classic is a stunning addition to the iconic Time Machine Series, delivering vintage style, tone, and craftsmanship. This second-hand masterpiece in Fiesta Red offers an authentic recreation of an original 1960 Stratocaster, its patina is a combination of the 'closet classic' relic package the guitar shipped with, combined with some true authentic play wear.
There are some significant dings to the bottom and back of the guitar, plus some wear patches to the back of the neck which are captured in the listing photos. The select alder body is finished in a nitrocellulose lacquer, offering both resonance and a striking vintage look. The maple neck, shaped in an early '60s "C" profile, is topped with a rosewood fingerboard boasting a 7.25” radius and 21 vintage-style frets, delivering smooth playability and a classic feel.
The 25.5” scale length ensures the snappy response that Strat enthusiasts adore. Equipped with three Custom ‘60s single-coil Strat pickups, this guitar delivers the quintessential Fender tone—sparkling highs, warm mids, and a balanced low end.
