The Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster is designed to meet Eric Clapton's specifications, offering exceptional playability, tonal versatility, and classic Fender craftsmanship. The guitar features a select alder body, which provides a balanced tone with pronounced mids and excellent resonance.

The neck is crafted from maple and shaped into a soft V-profile, a feature tailored to Clapton's preference for comfort and ease of play. The 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard houses with 22 vintage-style frets, further facilitating ease of playability. For electronics, the guitar is equipped with three Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups, which deliver classic Strat tones without unwanted hum.

The electronics include a five-position blade switch, a TBX tone control, and an active mid-boost circuit, providing a wide range of tonal possibilities from subtle warmth to searing lead tones. The bridge features a blocked tremolo, a modification preferred by Clapton for increased tuning stability during bends and sustained notes. The guitar is further personalised with Clapton's signature on the headstock, adding an iconic touch.

The guitar is missing its certificate, but can be verified on Fender's website and has been fully set up by our in-house technician and includes its original hard case.
