The EVH Star Limited’s basswood “Star” body and single direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickup combine to create a powerful yet clear tone that’s distinctly EVH. The EVH Star series features a streamlined control setup that includes a single volume knob and a push-button kill switch for dynamic stutter effects.

Seamless Playability

Offering a slick playing experience, this electric guitar’s maple neck sports an attention-grabbing bottle headstock shape reminiscent of the department-store guitar neck married to Eddie’s renowned Charvel. Complemented by a smooth ebony fingerboard with a 12- to 16-inch compound radius, and a fast Speed Neck profile, the EVH Star Limited appeals to technically-minded guitarists who desire a high-performance instrument without compromise.

Embodying the spirit of ceaseless innovation synonymous with Eddie Van Halen, the Star guitar was a unique creation, crafted from a Charvel body and an old department-store guitar neck. Used extensively on Van Halen’s World Invasion tour, the Star guitar became an integral instrument in the EVH lore. The EVH Star Limited embraces this spirit of modification, offering a modernised interpretation that retains the original’s charm.
