Key parameters include Mix, Gravity (delay), Feedback (Q), Size (depth), Lo (rate), and Hi (output level), allowing you to craft everything from traditional reverb to otherworldly atmospheres.
The Freeze switch lets you sustain the reverb effect, enabling you to play over the reverb trail and create rich, evolving soundscapes. The Blackhole is more than just a reverb—it’s an advanced tool for musical exploration. It offers stereo inputs and outputs, adjustable for guitar or line levels, and the ability to connect an expression pedal for further control. MIDI compatibility is also available through a MIDI-to-TRS cable, unlocking even more creative possibilities.
In addition to traditional reverb types, the Blackhole features two variations of infinite reverb, allowing you to push the limits of sound design. The integrated modulation in the reverb structure gives you the flexibility of shaping your tone with incredible precision, making it feel like a multi-voice chorus all within the reverb itself. The Blackhole comes with five factory presets, but with the Eventide Device Manager software, you can access even more—up to fifty additional presets.
