Epiphone Limited Marty Schwartz ES-335, Sixties Cherry Overview

The Epiphone Limited Marty Schwartz ES-335 in Sixties Cherry is the first signature guitar of popular online guitar educator Marty Music, featuring a stunning AAA-figured maple veneer adorned in a vintage Sixties Cherry finish and a huge tonal range via the push-pull coil split and phase switching.

Over the years, Marty Schwartz of Marty Music has become a cornerstone of online guitar education, amassing an impressive following of over 3.5 million YouTube subscribers and garnering over two billion video views. It’s no surprise then that his collaboration with Epiphone has produced something special: The Marty Music Signature ES-335.

Precision-Crafted Design

This Epiphone creation marries Marty’s vast expertise with the brand’s commitment to excellence. The 60s SlimTaper Rounded C neck profile offers seamless playability, seamlessly merging with an Indian laurel fretboard and stylish pearloid block inlays. A tasteful Marty Music emblem graces the back of the headstock, adding a subtle touch of personalisation from the esteemed guitar teacher.

Artistry in Every Detail

The semi-acoustic guitar’s visual appeal is heightened by a 5-ply layered maple body, beautifully encased in an AAA-figured maple veneer and a gorgeous Sixties Cherry finish. Ensuring pitch perfection and supreme tuning stability, the Grover® 502 C Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatic® tuners work harmoniously with the GraphTech® nut. The sturdy Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-MaticTM bridge and Stopbar tailpiece provide reliable anchorage for the strings during an intense performance.

Versatile Switching

Epiphone equip the Marty Schwartz signature ES-335 with a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers. These pickups are known for their rich tone with a defined low-end and detailed highs. The Marty Music ES-335 also features coil-splitting and phase switching via push-pull controls, giving you an immense range of tonal options compared to a traditional setup.

Beyond Marty Fans

The ES-335 doesn’t solely cater to Marty Music’s vast fanbase. If you’re looking for an exceptional ES-335 that looks fantastic, is incredibly versatile and is a lot more affordable than a Gibson model, this Epiphone Marty Schwartz model is a great electric guitar that’s worth playing for yourself.

A beautiful guitar, with a really striking finish. Plays great straight from the box. It’s a big guitar but still comfortable to play
