An awesome artist series Les Paul for a price you'll love!
Item in good condition (small marks or scratches)
The Epiphone Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection is a limited-edition guitar that pays tribute to the Tool guitarist's iconic 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom. This model, featuring Julie Heffernan’s “Self Portrait as Not Dead Yet” artwork on the back, combines stunning aesthetics with exceptional playability and tone.
The guitar features a Mahogany body with a Maple cap, elegantly bound and finished in Antique Silverburst gloss, mirroring the distinctive look of Adam’s original Les Paul. The back showcases Heffernan's custom artwork, complemented by a marquee backplate bearing the artist’s name and piece title. A three-piece Maple neck, also bound, offers a solid and stable feel, while the Ebony fretboard with block inlays ensures smooth playability and a classic look.
For tonal versatility, the neck is equipped with a reverse-mounted Epiphone ProBucker, delivering clear, rich tones ideal for clean passages or expressive melodies. In the bridge, a Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker provides powerful, aggressive output with tight lows and a searing high end, making it perfect for rock and metal. The pickups are wired through CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, ensuring precise control and sonic clarity.
The hardware is both stylish and functional. A Lock Tone Tune-O-Matic bridge ensures precise intonation, while the Graph Tech nut enhances sustain and harmonic richness. Vintage-style chrome tuners offer reliable tuning stability, and Black Speed knobs complete the sleek, modern aesthetic. This limited-edition guitar comes with a Protector hardshell case for safe transport and storage, making it as practical as it is striking. The Epiphone Adam Jones Les Paul Custom is a fitting homage to both Jones’ artistry and the visual and sonic heritage of his iconic instrument.
It has been fully set up and re-strung by our in-house technician and includes the original hard case.
